Scrap Africa Sketch 28

It looks as though I've been doing nothing but scrapbooking, but the truth is that this & the previous layout have been a work in progress over the last week & I happen to have time today to get them finished. The current sketch over at Scrap Africa is a real beauty:

I have so many photos that need scrapping that the biggest challenge is choosing a photo! The one I've chosen for this challenge is a very recent pic (last weekend) of DS, who was so excited to finally meet a guy who is a huge inspiration to him. A bit like when we meet someone from the scrapbooking world who we totally admire - that kind of excitement! :)

The base paper is Kaisercraft "Garage Days" and I've also used Bo Bunny "Mama-Razzi" papers.

Wooden title "#This is Awesome" - Flutterby Designs
"So Cool" arrow - Scrapmatts
"Capture" flair button - A Piece of Cake Designs
Wooden stars - Studio Calico
Wooden camera - Prima Marketing

Thanks for dropping by. I'd love to hear from you :)

  2. Ah Jo this is a stunning layout. The background looks amazing. Love the photo strip at the bottom that is so cool... the use of B&W and colour really makes the photo pop and the title is perfect. Love your take on the sketch. Another fabulous layout. Love it. Thanks for playing along with us at Scrap Africa. :D
